Startup FAQ

1. Where can I download the full eFlyff?

2. Where can I download the Elegant patch?

3. How do I patch the client?
Fully install your v11 eFlyff, then extract the files from the Elegant patch and paste everything inside the Flyff folder, which is usually C:/Program Files/Gpotato/Flyff. Overwrite whatever necessary files and create a shortcut for the loader if you wish. Double-click the loader.bat to enter the game.

4. Where do I register?

However I believe registration is currently closed, so try again at a later date.

5. What's the server status?
You can check here, at the left of the page. If you can't get into the page, it might also mean that the server is down.



Donation FAQ

6. Where can I donate?
The donation page has not been put up yet, so please be patient.

7. What will I receive from donating?
You'll probably receive a +10 Ultimate weapon, Bloody weapons, Bloody sets, pets (not CS), Bravery Cloaks, etc. Not confirmed.



Rollback FAQ

8. If my items get rollbacked, do I get them back?
You can approach the GMs for assistance, or Luke himself. No confirmations on getting back your item(s) though.

9. How do I avoid getting rollbacked?
Try to log out everytime something major occurs. Like getting a +20 Demol, log out to avoid a rollback. Or when the server's going for a reboot, logout when the notice is put up to avoid a loss of items.



Server-Related & In-Game FAQ

10. What are the rates of the server?
80x EXP, 400x drop, 200x penya.

11. Where do I get buffs?
From the GMs themselves. They last for a few days, so unless you die, you won't need to get rebuffed till a couple of days later. Unless you die which is rather difficult itself.
From the website http://121.214.10.206/elegantflyff/change/changejob.php buff your character yourself. Do not use the Buff tab. Login instead, and your characters will be listed. Choose which character to buff from there.

12. What do I get as starting items?
You get 20 million penya.

13. Where do I get Cash Shop items?
The Cash Shop Seller in Flaris sells a variety of CS Pets.
The Weapon/Armor shop in Flaris, Weapon/Armor Shop in Saintmorning and the General in Darkon sell CS clothes.
Public Office in Saint Morning sells Glasses and Bikes and such.

14. Where do I get greens?
The Station in Flaris sells Green sets of level 15-105.
Green weapons of level 15-60 can be found in the Weapon shop in Flaris.
Green weapons above level 60 can be found in General Darkon.
However, some green weapons are not sold, like Legendary Golden Sword, Guardian Big Sword, Historic Big Sword, Angel Big Sword, etc.

15. Where do I get upgrading materials?
Public Office in Flaris sells Sunstones, Moonstones, as well as cards and more.

16. When upgrading, do items break?
No.

17. Where do I get an Azria Ticket?
Losha, the food seller in Flaris.

18. Where do I get rings and necklaces?
Losha sells them as well. However the Gore cannot be upgraded, only those found from drops can be. STA Rings aren't sold in shops though.

19. Where can I get a Restat?
Losha.

20. Do GMs give out items?
NO. Don't beg from the GMs, they will NOT give out items. The drop rates are already so damn high, go get them yourself.

21. Can I get Bloody weapons?
You can make them, yes.

22. Can I get Pets?
If you can hunt an Egg then yes you can raise them. Questies are found at General Flaris. Turn them into pet food at Pet Tamers in either three towns. Pet EXP has not been altered yet though, so leveling them might be a tad bit slow.

23. Max level of rings and necklaces and weapons/sets?
+20 for the first two and +10 for the last two.

24. How do I pierce suits?
Get the four cards you want and moonstones from Public Office Flaris, then go to the Weapon shop and click the Piercing option. Drag the item to the top wtih a moonstone then click Ok. Do so till you succeed for four times. On your suit you will see 0/4. Then use the cards on it.

25. Do parties work?
They're bugged at the moment, but once you join any party, advanced or not, you'll get twice the experience. So from 80x it'll become 160x.

26. Do guilds work?
Yes they do, but they are also kinda buggy as well.

27. Can I awaken my items?
You can do so, but awakened items with two or more stats will disappear/vanish anytime when you re-login. Only awakened items with single-bonuses save.

umm is it v.11 or 12?

Might I ask, is the server still in closed beta? Or is it indeed open to the public (when its working.)

Well, for now anyways, the server is open to public, but it will go into Beta soon.

theres one thing you have forgotten... 2handd swords w/c is lvl 60, 75, and 90 are not avialable.... and such skills in some jobs does not work... thats all i can add for now...

Awesome faq maybe add some class builds aswell or refer to flyffworld.com for people who dont allready know it.
They have good information there aswell, and if you sign up at that frorum dont talk about pservers...they hate that.

I'll add that up in awhile.

great work cale. I only want to see sugestions for updates on here.. not people asking questions about server / registration status. if i see that youll get a warning. then a ban

Ash, if you can, make like a sticky or something telling people NOT to ask about the server stats. If they don't see it, well, they deserve the ban then >:3

I think the forum doesn't have an option for stickies.

Servers have been wiped and registration is now back up (in the day)!

But getting ingame is not possible yet right? Im confused. (i used the right ip adress i checked multiple times)
when i try with the ip adress given here i connect to a different flyff server wich i once played on (with alot of problems) after i switched from playing another well known flyf private server.
(same id and pass i used for here stupid i know, but i have so many accounts emails, banking and websites that sometimes i forget them so i used the same one for flyff servers).

edit
nvm now it does work no idea why no reinstall or an overwrite of the patch,i did cleanup my register maybe that was the problem old value or something.

Keep trying if you can't, should be able to eventually after a couple of tries.
